Q ) How long can I keep the skip ?

A) Normally one week, however, we can be flexible, discuss this when you call to order your skip.

Q) Can I place the skip on the road/pavement ?

A) No. you must have a permit from your Local Authority to place a skip on the road

Q) Where can I get a permit ?

A) We will apply on your behalf , however there is a fee payable by you to the Local Authority.

Q) How much notice is required ?

A) Most Local Authorities require at least 72 hours notice.

Q) How can I pay for the skip and the permit if required ?

A) We can accept payment by most Debit/Credit Cards, cheque or cash.

Q) How much can I put in a skip ?

A) You must not load a skip above the height of the sides. See our Skip Guide for dimensions.

Q) What can I dispose of in a skip ?

A) General household and garden waste, wood, bricks, soil/ rubble.

Q) What can't I dispose of in a skip ?

A) Asbestos, Gas bottles, Micro Waves/Fridges/Freezers/TV's, Paints, Solvents and Tyres. If you need to dispose of any of these items please let us know, as special arrangements can be made for their disposal, however there may be an additional charge for this service.

Q) What areas do you cover ?

A) We work on a Zone basis, so please look at our Map to see if your area is covered. If your area is not on the map, then please call for a P.O.A.
